ALPHA Facilities Solutions provides DoDEA with Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) and asbestos management as well as facility condition assessments for their portfolio of 19 million square feet of schools worldwide. ALPHA supported DoDEA’s transition from parametric surveys to BUILDER and began conducting the BUILDER assessments in 2013. ALPHA continues to perform annual BUILDER assessments of approximately 6-7 million square feet per year.
The program scope includes: Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) and asbestos management, Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) surveys, Facility Utilization Survey (FUS) updates, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) updates, Consumer Product Safety Council (CPSC) playground updates, life safety checks, and Real Property Inventory (RPI) assessment and documentation.
