Scope


ALPHA Facilities Solutions preformed a facility condition assessment of the Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center located in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Located on 65 acres, Gerald Champion Regional is known for becoming the first hospital in the United States to serve active-duty military members and civilians.
The FCA consists of an in-depth analysis of the medical center’s facility systems. The systems included were: all exterior systems, interior systems, heating/HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical distribution, plumbing systems, fire protecting, elevators, and more.
In addition to the above services, ALPHA provided an equipment barcoding and inventory and of all fixed, visible and accessible building equipment. The systems inventoried include: air handling units, chillers, exhaust fans, packaged units, heat pumps, main electrical panels, switchgear, emergency lights, main backflow preventer, ovens, stoves, fire alarms, sprinkler systems, elevators and many more.
