Are you a skilled and detail-oriented accountant with experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Unanet software? If you have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and possess a strong understanding of GAAP, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Full-time Staff Accountant.
- Manage and maintain the General Ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions including invoice processing, vendor management, customer billing, and collections
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any accounting discrepancies and provide necessary support and guidance
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Utilize Unanet software for project tracking, timekeeping, and expense management
- Utilize intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling
- Proficiency in all other Microsoft Office products needed to perform daily tasks efficiently
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an accrual-based accountant with a focus on General Ledger, AP, AR and Unanet software
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience with Unanet or other similar ERP systems
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation
- Proficiency in all other Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with large volumes of data
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
